The College is named after the Venerable Mar Thomas Kurialacherry, the first native Bishop of Changanacherry and the Founder of the Congregation of the Sisters of the Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament.The founding of Bishop Kurialacherry College in 1965 by the SABS Congregation was inspired by the vision of our Heavenly Patron, Venerable Mar Thomas Kurialacherry who had forseen the vital importance of the uplift ,enlightenment, and empowerment of women. It was his vision that by educating women we can create better home society and nation. “When we educate a woman we are educating a generation”, he used
